After qualifying with a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture (1996), I began my practice and opened a natural medicine clinic.
Through my busy practice of acupuncture, I found clients were having powerful experiences and easily opened up emotionally. This insight led me to qualifying as a Holistic Counsellor in 2002. The combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine’s (TCM) timeless wisdom and the powerful emotional clearing work done in Holistic Counselling, created a deep body, heart and soul connection for the client. From this understanding, Body and Soul Acupuncture was birthed.
With a specific focus on women’s wellness, Body and Soul Acupuncture works on everyone: men, women and children. This style of acupuncture is gentle, embracing the Japanese acupuncture approach, where one client at a time is given full attention.

What to expect within a body and soul acupuncture session
My passion for TCM is based on my love of Daoism. The Daoist believe that everything and everyone are interconnected. We are not isolated. We are interdependent with all. Our food, the way we think, our relationships and emotions all influence our state of being. I believe acupuncture is so much more than inserting needles. Acupuncture is just as much working with the body as it is with your spirit. Acupuncture is also about educating and empowering individuals to look at all aspects of their life. I want the client to understand how imbalance is created, support and educate them, enabling balance and inspiration back into their life.
The Body and Soul Acupuncture sessions are a weaving of natural therapies to create balance in your body, heart and soul. The therapies included are: acupuncture, cupping, acupressure, moxa, herbal remedies, lifestyle guidance, food therapy, chakra balance, meditation and guided visualisations.
